This monastery is the oldest in Tanjung Uban, having been built around 300 years ago by immigrants from mainland China, the existence of this pagoda is proof of the existence of Chinese citizens in this area since the first Kingdom of Riau. In this monastery there is the largest Buddha statue in Bintan, namely the gold-plated Sleeping Buddha.
